(O.T.) Alternating Timer

I have need for a low-amperage (less than one amp @120vac) dry contact in a timer that I can set to be closed (on) for xxx seconds and then open (off) for xxx seconds.

I can provide an external source of power, no problem.

Once I determine the two times (approximately three minutes in each 'state', changing the settings will be infrequent (and therefore need not be convenient).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions?

If the times are the same, you can use

You can vary the time as needed. If the times are different, potter and brumfield make a dual timer, but for the price, a smart relay may be a better option. You may also want to look at a smart relay, of you need more than one in the panel.

Bill, that is one brand, but why limit yourself? There are plenty of other brands and models of "repeat cycle" or "interval" timer relays, such as Dayton, Macromatic, Magnecraft, ICS, Potter & Brumfield, SSAC, and many more. You can buy a Magnecraft 222ACPFX-15 for about $55.
