Interface between PV1000 and LGX5000

How do I interface a tag from PV1000 to a Logix 5000 tag? My flow of information should go from PV1000 through a DHRIO module then to my Logix5000 program and vice versa.

The panelview uses panelbuilder32

What is the full part number of the PanelView terminal ? That will tell you if it is using DH+ or RIO protocol.

The exact firmware revision of the PanelView terminal, and the revision of PanelBuilder software you are using, are important as well. DH+ access to native ControlLogix tags was added piecemeal to the PanelView Standard over several years.

I don't have the panelview terminal in my possession so I can't tell you the full part number. I have my logix5000 program and the terminal program. I want to create a discrete I/O tag in logix and have it talk to the terminal. Why is this so difficult, I can't find any info anywhere on this?

If you already have the HMI and RSL5K applications files and the system is functional, it shouldn't be too hard to find out how the PB32 application's objects relate to the CLXs tags.

There isn't much in the pdf's about discrete I/O from Panelbuilder to Logix5000. Has anyone ever done this, is it possible?
