SLC 5/04 (RSLogix 500) Analog In to Analog Out

Hello guys,

Hopefully a simple one for you but I can't seem to find the answer listed in Rockwell's literature (http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/1746-um020_-en-p.pdf).

The scenario is as follows: -

What is the simplest way to pass an Analog Input to an Analog Output in an SLC 5/04 chassis (in the same rack)?

MOV instruction? Either that or an SCP to match the ranges.

I thought it was as simple as MOV but was doubting myself. No scaling involved so SCP won't be required.

As long as the raw data of your analog input card matches the raw data required by the analog output card.
