A/B panelview to 1747 AIC J2 port

I want to connect an Allen Bradley Panelview Component 1000 to the J2 (peripheral) port of a 1747 AIC isolated link module on a DH485 network. The Panelview is just far enough away from the processor that I now get comm errors from time to time. Can anyone tell me how to connect from the Panelview 485 terminals to the J2 port of a 1747 AIC. There are other and better ways of connecting (I know that) but I have the 1747 AIC and don't want to buy more stuff.
