dear all...

i would to know..does omron c200he plc..can be support by etthernet..

i wanna commnicate omron plc with wincc but using ethernet support instead of com 1 or 2

Not that I am aware of. It is really getting pretty old. Replace with CS1 and Ethernet is available. I/O cards will generally work with CS1 so only have to replace CPU and rack. Power supply is probably OK too.

BobB is completely correct. Ethernet support was not available until the CS1 came out.

Not to be difficult, but that is not entirely true. See attachment.

However, this option is no longer available from Omron.
I would agree with the CS1 upgrade and a CS1W-ETN21 module.

Ok, perhaps I should have said native (not to mention reliable) support.

Did try one one of those PCMCIA modules. I could never keep it reliably going...
