Hello,
There are some open source programs I have read that can communicate with a ControlLogix. I have never used one. I am not sure about OPC support in those programs.
We sell an OPC server for $49 that can read/write ControlLogix.

With just a few lines of VB code, you can use AdvancedHMI, which is free, to log data from a ControlLogix.

You can use your RSLINX server as a opc there is no need to use any externel opc if you are using allen bradley
