Hi All

I am looking at an application where I must read a data block from a number of package plants, on ethernet.

All plcs are S7-300 but are NOT within the same project.

At present I have my PLC and one of the other plcs available.

PLC1 Address 192.168.10.10 with CP343 192.168.20.10

PLC2 Address 192.168.10.20 with CP343 192.168.20.20

Anyone any idea how I can exchange data between the two?

My thought was Get/ Put instructions but am a bit lost in configuring the connection etc. etc.

Help please anyone.

It is quite simple.
When you setup the connection in NetPro, you select for the partner "unspecified", and set the connection details (IP, rack and slot) manually.
You have to manually mirror the setup in the two projects, as opposed to that NetPro do it automatically for a fully specified connection in an integrated project.
