Hi all,

I have two modules 1769-IF8 within a Compactlogix L32E system.
Installation have been about 3 years ago.

Lately some values on SCADA coming from analogic modules started to be less then values shown on instruments display.

My analogic modules are configured 4-20mA, 10Hz, EngineeringUnits.

First module wired for 4 wires transmitters ( example In2, page 2.21 ) while second module wired for 2 wires transmitters ( example In0 page 2.20)

Instrument shows 5,3mA output, multimeter confirms the value but the analog input reads only 4.4mA. ie 4431 counts

Simulated output for fixed readings

4ma =3521,10mA =6981,12mA = 7628, 20mA = 9290. Again multimeter confirms the output value.

On first module I am using 7 channels, on second 6 channels.

Found faulty channels Ch1,Ch4 and Ch5.

Took the wires from Ch1 to Ch7, configured the channel, everything ok.

Now the question is why on Module 1 I have 3 channels decalibrated from 7?
Could be anything wrong with this type of wiring? 3 from 7 bad seems pretty much in 3 years.

Second module has 6 channels used all OK.

Thank you
