panelview plus 700 and dh+

I have a slc 504 with dh+ and three panelview plus 700. When i connect two touch screens that have the same program app, they work fine when i connect the third screen i get a legacy message (error) that pops up on all three screens. it does not matter which two screen are connected they work fine when the third screen is connected the network goes down. any ideas.

:) They have different node addresses I hope........ :)
 
So then...

How is the network wired... Trunkline with droppers to each node?? or daisy chained??

Are the correct terminating resistors used for the given baud rate ??
 
What does that error message say exactly ?

Maybe its is the SLC5/04 that cannot handle so much communications.
Try to insert a few SVC (Service Communication) instructions in the SLC program.
And/or try to reset S:2/15 (Comms Servicing Selection).
Notice: Both actions will increase the scan time of the SLC5/04.
 
Are you sure the node addresses are different? There are some settings related to the terminal starup that could cause you to accidentally duplicate node numbers (replace network settings on startup). I have also had a similar occurence when I accidentally set a node to a different baud rate than the network. Also check termination.

On RSLinx do you see the processor and all 3 panelviews on the dh+ network. If you do it's not a node or baud rate problem. Could be related to the number of panelviews on the network. May need to increase your data read/write timeouts.
