Windows 10 any one?

Play with it if you like, but please don't use beta software for an industrial real world project.

What I have seen so far, if your software runs on Win 8.1, or even 7 there should not be a problem. But then our "Industrial" software writes don't always follow the "norms". :)

There was a huge change with how the Program Files folder and the user folders worked going from XP to 7 which caused all kinds of problems. That all stayed the same for Win 8 and remains the same for Win 10.

There was a big problem with drivers in Win 8 that caused a lot of problems, but these have mostly been corrected. Not sure if Win 10 builds more on Win 8 or Win 7.

Win10 is built on Win8.1 fundation, AFAIK. I have the preview (free download) running in VirtualBox right now but haven't tried to install any control stuff in it yet.

I am running Logix V24 and FT View 8.0 on it with no issues but it's just to mess around with. Don't install it on any machine you need for real work becuase ther are still lots of bugs in the most recent release in my opinion.
