Hi,
Previously we used SS5136SD DH+ cards for communicating with Allen Bradley SLC 5/04 PLC utilizing Wonderware free SST5136 DDE server. This was back in the days before even XP arrived. Now with Windows 7 32 bit operating system I needed to use AB 1784-PKTX DH+ card and RsLinx Classic with Intouch 10.6 because I couldn't get the latest SST-DHP-PCI card quick enough. The PLC and Intouch communications are working ok but sometimes the communications stops and I need to reboot the PC. I created an error log to track the RsLinx comm errors. Do I also need to integrate the RsLinx somehow into Wonderware system management console or should it work without any integration?
