replacing 1792 armorblock with 1732

Is this possible? Looks like there should be some kind of cabling kit that ab would offer, but I can't find anything. Or are they not compatible.

The 1792 armorblock is the variety that uses the flat cable thru the base.
seems like there should be a cable kit that can attach to the flat cable and route into the 1732 style armorblock.
