Hi folks

I have a new application using a Magelis HMI part #XBT-E015010 and a CMI Scadapack 32 controller. I have the programs written for both units but I can't seem to get them communicating with each other. The problem being that I wasn't sent a hardware manual for the HMI, so I'm not sure what is required for a communication cable between the HMI and Scadapack. I am using the modbus protocol, the 9 pin com3 port on the Scadapack, and the 25 pin port on the Magellis HMI.

Has anyone used this combination before? Magellis tech support is now gone for the weekend...ahhhhh!!! Thx in advance for any help.

Paul

Thanks for the help Jim. I also found a techie at CMI who was familiar with both products and he was a huge help.

Thanks again.
