rs232 cable

Hi Guys

I need cable running from PC serial port to Allen Bradley PV1000 HMI. Do you have any idea which type it should be. Any serial no or cable number configuration codes at the plugs... Do you think that I can use home made cable to communicate or do I have to buy one. The software is panelbuilder32.

The straight thru cable should work as long as your RS232 port has not been configured for a printer port. If so get to the config screen and change it.
