Looking for help regarding my below question, I'm not very experienced in the world of PLC, but trying my best.
Here at job site we have two PLC , one is PCS (Where all plant process signals are configured) and 2nd is SIS (Where all ESD signals are configured).
Now problem is I need to configure one Flow switch (ESD) in SIS PLC system, this switch is installed on upstream of Gas line, all other instruments which are installed on this line are coming to PCS. To configure this switch in SIS I also need some signals from other instruments to confirm its operation and I need to take signal from our PCS PLC. My question is can I use produced / consume or message instructions in our SIS PLC system to configure this flow switch?
