HI all! New to Siemens and was wondering when adding a drive to a project is there a way to select the Firmware of the drive when adding it?

I have a Siemens trainer with a G120 Drive FW 4.7.6. When I try and add the drive to the project the firmware is set at 4.7.10. Yes I know I can update the drive firmware but I was wondering if there was a way to do change it in the project?

Thanks in advance!

WHen you add the drive, down at the bottom of the catalog is the "Information" section. You can select from the list of available firmware there.

You may be able to right click on the drive and select "Change Device" as well, but with drives sometimes you need to delete them and add them again.
