Siemens TIA Portal - Online "Not compatible"

Hello, i can find the CPU when searching for it. But when I go Online i just get the icon for "Not compatible" everywhere. I get no additional information. I´ve tried chagning firmware but no luck. What is the problem here?
It´s a S7-1214 DC/DC/DC

When checking Online & diagnostics it says the firmware is 4.5.1. Is this compatible with v4.5 on the cpu?
Software in PLC is V17, I use Tia Portal v.17 Update 6. Is there any more update for the portal?

I've had this problem due to IP address. TIA will attempt to change your IP to be in the same network as the PLC to communicate. For example IP is 1.2.3.4, subnet 5.6.7.8 would require your IP to be 1.2.x.x and subnet to be 5.6.7.8.
Sometimes this just doesn't happen. Rebooting the computer usually solves it, or you can manually change your IP configuration to work.

Try downloading and installing the HSP for V17:

Scroll to the "Support Packages for TIA Portal V17" then download the "The complete download - "TIA_Portal_V17_HSP.zip"

Thanks for your help guys!
I resolved it, but not the actual problem.

With a blank project, I went to Online—>Upload whole station.
Somehow, that worked like a charm and everything was green and accessible.

As far as i could see, everything was like i tried before.
Well well, these creatures never cease to pull pranks on you.
