Is anyone here using the ISA-101 standard to make SCADA/HMI design?

As I understand it's not 100% completed but I'm trying to find if there are any resources available online so I can read more about it.

Thanks,
Pete

I wouldn't wait for ISA 101. Almost no practical value in my opinion.
The first release is a starting point and very general; it would be impossible to take their first release and design a good, complete HMI.

You will get far better results by using both of these two books:
ASM Consortium HMI Design (group of oil companies that have shared their own research)
https://www.amazon.com/Effective-Console-Operator-HMI-Design/dp/1514203855

High Performance HMI Handbook (Book from an HMI consultant company)

Acuite.com offers a good review of the HMI standards that relate to industrial automation.
I've researched around for years, and this is the best overview of your options.
You can download that here for free:

If you want to go all the way, you can get the USA nuclear regulation HMI standard for free. Very long, dry and difficult to read but it does have a lot of info.
