Anyone know the functional difference between the 2 par numbers below.

1336-MOD-WB035

1336-WB035

They are both 750 VAC Input

Setup for 460 VAC Drives

Sized for 35 ADC RMS.

They look the same also. What does the MOD designate? I have not found much online and it looks like a lot of this info is no longer in the KB and other resources at Rockwell.

The TechConnect guy I wait 40 minutes to talk to was clueless.

Any ideas?

I thought the "MOD" was a dynamic brake resistor, while the part number without it was a "Chopper Module" that included a transistor of its own.

My recollection is that "MOD" was a configured drive option (a "Modification" of the part number).

But I don't think the part numbers coincided like that: I found an obsolescence document that doesn't show a "1336-MOD-WB035".

You might have to find somebody at RA that's older.... these were state of the art fifteen years ago.

Ken

If you put them side by side theya re the same. I could not find any relevant info with the MOD inj the middle of the part string but we have about 50 of them. We also have them without the MOD in the middle.

They appear to be exactly the same though. The problem I seem to be having is finding someone at Rockwell old enough and that I can get on the phone.

Thus far everyone I have managed to get on the phone was clueless.
