What's the difference between the two?

What's the proper one to use for communicating to a remote i/o rack via controlnet (this is for a Control Logix system).

The CNB is older, slightly cheaper, and supports 40 to 48 connections.
The CN2 is newer, slightly more expensive, and supports 100 connections.

They generally perform equally well, I have both here.
