be sure to check the specifications before you buy any of the "emulator" packages ... they don't do everything that a real processor will do ... for example: no PID functions, etc. ...
RS Emulate 5000 does do PID and pretty much everything else so it is very useful.
RS Emulate 5 and RS Emulate 500 do not but are still good for testing basic logic. There is Knowledge Base Document that describes most of the limitations of RS Emulate 5 and these also apply to 500.
