Hi, I have 0 experience with Modicons.

A friend asked me if Im able to help him out with simple programming of Modicon 512/612 PLC. I believe this hardware is from 80ties.
Manual is calling for a Modsoft programming package.

Is there anyone who can recommend a way of accessing this PLC and programming it's I/Os (hopefully with descriptions).

Depending on the price of the software it might be more cost effective to buy one micrologix and rewire it.

Thanks

ouch, that programming language is completely different.

And then, to have to figure out the program w/ no comments?

Ouch.

I'm doing something similar right now.
