Most of Ayayz's previous posts have been concerning S7. Is this a step up or down?

Bernie, That would be a step down, s7/300 is very good, now if he was asking for control logix...or compact...that would be a good debate, I use both, including s5 (not that I’m proficient in either one mind you), but I am still in favor of control logix, has Casey done a poll on this yet?

About AU$1500 AU$ in Australia. As usual, we are probably getting ripped off.

Cheap in comparison to RSLogix5. Last price I got was AU$4500.

you might as well go with the bundle, it runs for about $6,700, includes rslogix 5, 500, and 5000. lot of cash up front, but definately pays off in the end. if you want it cheap and are willing to take a 1 or 2 hundred dollar risk, i agree, check out e-bay. i see them on there 2-5 times a month.
