I am finding allen bradley doesn't have a pre-wired terminal block and cable for the analog 1756 and 1769 modules unless you also use the interface modules. That solution is a bit too expensive, but I would like something less time consuming than running 6 twisted pair to the analog module and making wire labels for both ends of each pair.
With the M340 PLC I buy the cables with the 40 pin connector on the PLC and color coded flying leads to go in standard terminal blocks in the control panel.
I could buy the Allen Bradley cables to be used with the analog interface modules (AIFM) and chop the interface module connector off, beep out the cable colour to terminal map, but that doesn't seem like the best option at this time.
I am looking for a cable that will cut down on the wiring work without breaking the bank. It should be, 18-22 AWG, shielded ideally with braid and foil, have colour coded conductors, and I think 20 is the ideal number of conductors as the PLC terminals are either 20 or 40 terminals.
So far Belden 83569 looked good to me

PLC kid uses Belden 8104 which has 4 twisted pair 24 gauge with braided shield, foil, and a drain wire.

rdrast uses Belden 9728 which also has 4 twisted pair 24 gauge, no braided shield.

I don't need twisted pair as the only frequency I deal with is 60 Hz.
If anybody has links or part numbers for the cables they use for wiring to PLC terminals it would be much appreciated.
For reference I am going to use the 1492-CABLE TBCH for the 1756 Control Logix discrete input cards, can get the 1769-IQ32T compact logix input module with 40 pin ribbon cable type connector and AB has the 1492-CABLE N3. I use Phoenix contact relay terminal blocks and cables for the discrete outputs. and per the above still trying to figure the analogs.
