I'm interested in purchasing a 10" panel PC for use while travelling. I'm willing to give up processing power for the convenience of a programming device that doesn't weigh a ton - my Blackhawk Duo Pro is just too damn heavy to be lugging through airports!

My only real necessities are that it run Windows XP so RSLink, RSLoxix 500 & 5000 will work. Of course, it has to have WiFi capability, but I imagine and tablet PC will.

Any suggestions?

A laptop is? What kind of panel pc do you think will be lighter?, unless you have a very different definition of a panel pc then I do.

If you mean a tablet PC, then something like this might work, but I'd hate to have to do anything serious with it.

samsung air

That samsung laptop that looks like the mac book air looks sweet!

Anyone have this laptop?

I have seen the 17" version - same as most 17" notebooks
except for the handy rs232 com port
