Can you please give me some steps to communicate between S5 CP524 and S7 CP CP340 with 3964R procedure.
I have tested 3964R communication between two S7 CP340 and that is working very smoothly. But in case of communication between CP524 & CP340 I am totally lost.
1.I have burnt EPROM for CP524 with low priority-9600bps-8 bitdata-1 stop bit-even parity.I have two job nos. Job-1 is SEND ,with DB No-20, DW=0.
and Job-2 is FETCH, with Dest DB=10, DW=0.
2. I have called syncron FB in OB20,21,22,23.
3.I called RECV-ALL and SEND-ALL in OB1 at begining and End respectively.
4. Now first Question is should I program send & receive in S7 CPU also?
5. Should I call SEND DIRECT in S5 to send data from s5 to s7 ?
6.Should I call FETECH DIRECT or RECEIVE-DIRECT FB in s5 to receive data from s7 to s5?
7. Should we program EPROM with Procedure as well as Interpreter to use 3964R Protocol?
