Building a PLC

is there some bias here against steam power logic?

it is also binary, hot or "very son of a B#### Mother F##### Hot as Hell".

or how about a PLC to control a steam traction engine?

These acronyms drive me nuts especially so when I forget what they stand for.

What is the differance between a
WOMB
and a
WOMBAT

and then what about a
DINGBAT

Dan Bentler

WOMBATS - eats, roots, chutes and leaves
WOMB - female anatomy
Dingbat - student who asks - can you do this for me....

Hmm yes one could call it binary.
1. Live Stem vs Dead Stem - Referance movie with Steve McQueen. Sand Pebbles. Good training material. That 30 seconds kept us Nukes entertained for a week.

2. Hmmm maybe not so binary - degree of saturation.
Also temperature and pressure (take pick if saturated)
3. Superheated ??

What do you want to drive the tractor with recip engine or turbine?
Nostalgia in me says recip.

Also turbines do not have a bunch of gizmos to watch go back and forth.
Kind of like politicians - they just go in circles.
