Good evening, i wanna change a PID loop from a Siemens TP 177 Micro panel
and the PLC is a Siemens s7-226

the value for p, i, d, is stored in
VD6 1.0
VD10 10.0
VD14 0.0
they are floating points
and now i wonder how to set it up right on the panel.
i have bean trying almost everything but cant get it right :angr:
i only gets xxxxx on the panel or the closest is 1 when it should be 1.0
what´s the data type and do i need to scale or what?

Thanks,

Working with this settings in wincc:

TAG: real

IO Field:
format type:decimal
format pattern: 99.99

Hi there
Help file shows that Ti, Td and Kc are all real, that is you need to use VD.
But you are already using this and is getting XXXX so i guess your HMI is not communicating with PLC, What about the other tags?? are they working O.K?
