Cimplicity Password

Hello,

i have a machine with different user login, but we have forgotten the user id and password of the user who can edit the recipe. The HMI software is written in Cimplicity 4, we only have the viewer. We have got the SwxCF backup file, is it possible to find the passwords and user id's, without the edit program?

The default username and password might work, if nobody erased the administrator account.

Try: ADMINISTRATOR & password CIMPLICITY (all caps)
or the other way around
CIMPLICITY & password ADMINISTRATOR (all caps)

I dont know of a way to bypass it

Thanks i will try it tomorrow if i can acces the highest level, so we can edit the recipes.

There must be a server running, otherwise the viewer won't work.
You need to find the programm "WORKBENCH"
In that program there is tab with Security, there you can change usernames and passwords.

I thought that the "administrator" is by default blank?
