Collecting trend data offline

I have been able to get trend data through RSLogix 5000 when we are running the program and we are online, but I'm not sure how to collect data while offline. We wanted to collect data as soon as the operator starts the program but without us monitoring the data trend collection live. Is it possible to collect data this way?

No, you can not make a trend within RS5000 while offline.
But you can try to use an OPC server and gather info into excel thru XLReporter.
