I'm converting a SquareD Symax system to ControlLogix and I'm trying to pick the best solution for a reeling drum comms cable.

I've been looking at a new CAT5e reeling drum to keep everything on Ethernet/IP however there is a time proven reeling drum currently used which I'd like to use.

This drum connects 8030-CRM-210 Remote interfaces (https://www.artisantg.com/info/ATG7diwr.pdf) on the current system so will be a Belden 8723 cable (https://catalog.belden.com/techdata/EN/8723_techdata.pdf)

Is there a way I can use this reeling drum to get a ControlLogix rack to talk (As a remote rack) to another?

Thanks
