Hello
I have to convert a MELSEC-A Mitsubishi program which works under DOS to Studio 5000 Allen Bradley. What is your opinion is it possible?

The only way is to do it manually as far as I know.
Have you got a printout, if not it may be possible if you have the original file to post it here & maybe someone could print it out for you.

I was suspecting the same thing, if there's a printout it should be fairly simple (not necessarily easy, depending on the program). I've done this with a SLC 100 upgrade, working from a printout of a DOS program to build the new PLC program.

It probably won't interest you but Mitsubishi have an A to Q conversion tool that's pretty good, in actual fact there is a lot of documentation about using existing I/O with the Q or the direct replacements etc. there is a caveat however, there could possibly be an odd instruction that cannot be converted (rare but possible), here it creates some code using some bits in the higher range (cannot remember the exact ones but that you would need to look at & find a way to re-produce the code.
