Obset trying to program the short test ladder (simply direct activation of any O/P, O/0/7)into
SLC 500 (1747L20C) fixed H/Ware + 2 slot ext. rack w/1746-NI4 analog I/P card;IBM PC\ WinXP SP1;

RSLogix500 version 6.10.10;

RSLinxLite ver. 2.42.00 (build18);

Driver AB-PIC ( 1747-PIC ser. A unit) :

- putting the SLC into Run mode returns "Error 56H - Invalid Rack Config"

While connected to the PLC, use the "read configuration" option.
That will give you the correct I/O configuration.

Unfortunately this option is not active for Fixed H/Ware type 1747-L20C (appears in gray coloure).

Add a Rung;
Insert O:0/4 "Chain Motor";

Verify Project - NoErrors;
Download -OK, Goonline -OK; REMOTE PROG -green;
1) Run /Scan -Put SLC in Run mode -OK, -"Fault"(SLC mnemo LED CPU FAULT flashes);
GotoErrors - "Error 56h- The rack configuration specified in the user program is detected as being incorrect".
2) Toggle Bit - green;
Force O/P - "Forces Installed", "Forces Enabled", (SLC mnemo LED FORCED I/O lit but none O/P toggles);
