Factorytalk Historian SE - Trouble adding historian points to the server

Got the exact same result (no desired tags) using the Search tool in SMT as in DataLink:

And yes the DataLink is installed on the same machine.

There is something iffy with your setup...All "existing" 95 points are "Internal" to the system and they are not supposed to count against your purchased "points limit".

Is the FTLD interface running? (FTAC Connections/Historical Data/(Right-Click)FTLD/Properties; Start it if not and choose the Automatic Startup setting.

What about your RA Activation? Is it current and "available" for the FT Activation Server?

Yes the interface is running. The point number does not increase as I seemingly "add" the tags.

Not sure how to check the RA activation though.

Somebody just suggested installing AF Server 2010, which we have no clue what role it plays in the historian system... Just installed it & trying to figure out what it does.

AF Server 2010??...
All Programs/Rockwell Software/ FactoryTalk Activation/FactoryTalk Activation Server- make sure the Historian SE (and the Tag Limit" is listed within the "Available Activations" interface- you might want to Restart/Refresh it.
I'd also try to Stop the FTLS interface, reboot the machine, make sure the FTLD starts up and then try to add points similarly to your last attempt.
