We are cutting over a PLC5 to ControlLogix and we ran into some issues with the HMI (FTView v10, Network Distributed). We found that after updating the tags to reflect the change to ControlLogix ( n5:5/5 -> n5[5].5) as well as updating the topic to the new hardware that nothing on the HMI was working. After some additional testing what we found was if there is any change to the topic the tags seem to have to be updated (change the topic and change it back for that tags path) before the tag works again, seems like we need to manually refresh the database to get the tags updated on the clients. Any knowledge on how to avoid this?
