Hi guys

how do you manage the shutdown of the Factorytalk View SE runtime when the UPS for the PC/IPC is running out of power?
Right now the UPS is sending Windows the shutdown command when the threshold is reached, so it shuts down Windows safely. But Factorytalk is not shut down safely (i checked and the shutdown macro wasnt run).
Do you know if that could corrupt the diagnostic list, file datalogs or sql entrys?

I could easily monitor the connection to the plc from FTV, and after 5 minutes (or whatever) of connection loss shutdown the HMI application.
But is that something you guys do? Or do you thrust FTV that nothing will happen on a forced close?

Best regards
