Festo Stepper drive CMMS-ST

Hi, Has anyone played with the Festo stepper drive CMMS-ST.
Running in position mode works a treat but can't get it to work in synchro mode. Actually need it to synchro one way then shoot back in pos mode. Placing product on a moving conveyor. Any thoughts welcome.
