Help with Upload of E900 HMI

Hi all,

I have been tasked with uploading a project from a E900 mitsi panel but the only connection I can see is RS232 going to the PLC.

Would it be ok to just unplug cable to PLC and connect that way or is that a bad no no thing to do.

Most of the panels I have done have been offline or I have a backup......this one has no backup.
