how to sync two servo drives??

hi everyone,i am trying to synchronous two servo motors (in my case fujii alpha5 smart as main drive and sigma SG AS servo drive as follower drive ).i have little knowledge in synchronization any ideas for connecting the drives?
im trying to connect them with ethernet cables but i dont know how they communicate and how they exchange speed and position data.any ideas ?please help
