How to take backup from Magelis HMI without a cf card inside.

Hello Everyone.

Just been handed a Magelis HMI, The screen wont light up but the system does boot up. I noticed it dosent have any CF memory card in it.

Can anyone please advise how to take a backup or retrieve the data present in the hmi in this situation??
I tried using the usb to usb cable - no success and to use ethernet not sure what address it was downloaded at.

Any advise would be greatly helpful

Unless it's been built with the backup selected you won't be able to get a copy of the application off it regardless of if its got a CF card in it or not, you can store the application on the main drive now but think that may have only come in on later versions.

You should be able to find the IP by running Wireshark against it booting it.
