Good morning,
I am currently in Nigeria and I came across a problem with a Robot fanuc that is installed in a Huky injection machine.
The teach Pendant ( a05B-2301-c305) has all the LEDs On and only has the messages:
VRAM CLEAR CGRAM - COMPLETE
INTERNAL RAM TESTING - OK
EXTERNAL RAM TESTING – OK
Teach Pendant Ready.

But then it doesn't respond to any keys, any idea of the problem?

what do you mean doesn't respond to any keys? If you hold the deadman switch do you see the status bar at the top change indicating you are in the right position? can you move between screens and select a specific axis to move or a type of move?

When i cold the deadman switch, no status bar appears.

Usually deadman switch has 3 positions:
1.not pressed
2. pressed with small force
3. pressed with to much force

You need to press it with small force. Often with both hands.

It looks like it lost its program. The firmware booted, but without a program to run it's just sitting there.

If the program is read from the robot controller it could be a cable or connection problem where it is getting the 24 or 5V but not the communication.

Fanuc is one hand, either side.

Must be an older robot, GE and Fanuc have been divorced for a while now.

Got to be close to 25 years old. The Power Motion branding was a thing in the late 1990s. I didn't realize it included robots though. But there was a high level deal between GE Fanuc and Husky. Husky got to buy their hardware direct from the factory without going through distributors and there were some custom modules.

The only Husky I can google looks like a XYZ stage and references to CNC. I imagine when using Fanuc drives, that teach pendant could be a method of editing a program in a CNC style controller.
