Hello,

I have been looking at the Yaskawa website for documentation on G-code sample programs. I was unsuccessful at finding any IEX 61131-3 sample that contain any G-Code function blocks.

Has anyone had any experience with Yaskawa and G-code processing with a MP2300?

Thanks
Jim

Sorry, I just checked. Did not find any G-codes either. I thought there are G-codes, but did not find any at Yaskawa. Fanuc CNC's are using G-codes.

Yaskawa IEC version uses motion FBs, like most other IEC 61131-based systems.

The generic (non-IEC) version programs motion either by placing values into certain output registers or by means of custom text-based motion programming language which has nothing in common with G-codes.

G-Code is an old Fanuc CNC programming language from 30+ years ago, is it really still being used?
