Hi guys,
I'm a bit of a newbie to Intouch. I'm using Intouch 2014. I made a pretty solid code to detect View node to View node comm fail, and forced/priority failover without enabling the secondary source. The code works fine until I started messing with IOSetAccessName. I created a heartbeat between the 2 View nodes and used IOSetAccessName at start of app to determine the "OtherNode" (access name). After the code was solid.. I continued to create a new access name "MasterNode" I used IOSetAccessName to set the node that is actively polling as the "MasterNode" and the values on my screen use remote tag referencing to "MasterNode".
Now my problem is that it seems that I can not have MasterNode sometimes equals OtherNode and it is creating a problem with Intouch. With some research, I found that Intouch does not allow 2 access names that are the same.
My question is, how do I get around this? The failover that comes with Enabling Secondary Sources does not seem to perform the way I need it to.
Thanks for the help
