Hi I have a customer who has come to me with an issue with his Klockner-Moeller PS31 PLC. I realize its pretty ancient and should be replaced, and I believe he intends to. But at the moment they are having an issue with the program in the PLC and asked if I can help them. I know that it requires the CoDeSys software to program it, but are there version limitations? does the newer versions support this PLC, and also is the programming cable anything special, Null Modem or straight thru?

any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

it is not codesys, and you will need to have the original files to go online and check and edit.
Same as on newer systems, as it is compiled.
In PS3 it is not compiled.
and yes it is ancient.
