Hi guys,

I'm looking for a smallish quantity of Belden 1120A or equivalent. It is a 18 gauge stranded, twisted pair, shielded cable with a 600V insulation rating. We are planning to install a three phase power monitor and this is the recommended cable to connect to the meter. The 600V rating is necessary as the meter is located in an enclosure that also contains 480V 3 phase. The connection is a RS485 2-wire link running at 9600 bps.

I am having a hard time finding this type of wire in smaller quantities. For our project, 50 feet would probably be enough; 100 would be a good plenty.

Do anyone have a good source for this type of cable? Either that or a recommendation on something a little easier to find.

Thanks,
Brian

Try Alpha wire, alphawire.com.

Their equivalent part number is 5616B1801. The website also lists distributors.
