I'm trying to get an M340 PLC, specifically the BMXP341000, to communicate with an Allen-Bradley PV+ 1000. The only port on the M340 is a modbus RJ45 female that I know is used for Modbus serial connections. I'm assuming the HMI can load a Kepware driver for Modbus communication, but does anyone know what the cable would be between the two?
I have an RJ45 male to DB9 Male cable that is "straight through", shown below.
I could try opening this up but I'm still not sure what pins go where. Tried to find pinouts of the Modbus port on the M340 and didn't find anything, maybe I was looking in the wrong places, ha. Thanks.
