Micro830 and Stepper Motors

Has anyone ever done a stepper motor application using one of the new AB Micro PLC's? I'm curious what components you used on the stepper motor end and est. cost. I have a standard machine design I was planning on adding an AB micro family PLC to and if I can drive a stepper motor controller using it somehow it'd save me some more money and time.

ANY input is appreciated!
