Micrologix 1500 hsc with 3 encoders

Hello All:

I have a Micrologix 1500, 1764-24BWA, 1764 LRP procesoor unit.

I want to know if is possible use 3 encoders in ML1500 one of them using the HSC on the base ML1500 unit and the others using
1769-HSC module.

The 1769-HSC module can simultaneously interface with up to 2 quadrature incremental encoders or 4 single-input counters.

Yes, it is possible, provided that the encoder signals are electrically compatible with the inputs.
