Hi guys,

I am looking for a very small three phase motor about 1/15 to 1/8 hp.
needs to be about the same size as a nema 23 frame stepper motor.

Thanks

IS there a reason it has to be 3 phase? At 1/8 to 1/15 HP you can find single phase and 90vdc motors off the shelf at http://www.grainger.com

I did find a metric 3PH 1/6 HP:
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/productdetail.jsp?xi=xi&ItemId=1611789213&ccitem=

The 90vdc models its easy to find a 1/8HP model:

The DC models may fit the nema size aspect better than any AC model if you want off the shelf.

If you use a 90vdc model at full rpm then you dont necessarily have to buy a controller, just use a bridge rectifier. If you need less than 1800 rpm look at a speed controller or the gearmotor models.
