Hi,
I have been asked to add a module to an existing PLC, which has a processor Q2AS(H).

I have looked online and found A1SJ71QE71N-B2 and A1SJ71QE71N-B5T.

These look like older style connectors which would need a transceiver to hoop up to a standard network.

Does anyone know if there is a more 'modern' version.

Additionally, I seem to remember that these modules need ladder logic code to configure them

Any advice gratefully received. My rep is coming next week so it would be good to have a few ideas up front

Cheers

A1SJ71QE71N-T, 10baseT, RJ45 connection.
Pretty sure it's configured via Parameter -> Network Parameter -> Melsecnet/Ethernet in GX Developer, been a while since I used one.
